Although I am in the garden today.....I am as others are, praying for peace in our world. Let all animals be shown respect, love and kindness, they should never suffer abuse from others and suffer beyond words in war zones.
We are privileged to share this fragile planet; we need to co-exist with animals and humans. Therefore, it is imperative that we do everything in our powers to help those in need.
If kindness is taught....I pray it will change life's.
The walk coincided with my birthday so as well as praying for the peace of the world as i walked, it was a time to reflect on the past as well as to think about the unfulfilled dreams that I still carry in my heart and the longing to see a kinder world where all life is respected and all creatures are allowed to live free from pain and abuse.
None of us know what tomorrow will bring so lets all try to use today, this moment and this opportunity to be at peace with ourselves, with one another and with the world we have the privilege of living in.
We will have good days and bad days. Feel positive and feel low. But together we can sow seeds of kindness, gentleness and integrity and bring a splash of beauty to our wonderful but weary world.
Thank you for joining our walk for peace group. We invite you to walk on the 2nd of each month on your own or with others to remember those who are suffering because of the aggression of others. To pledge to live as peaceably as we can with those around us and to provide a safe and peaceful environment for our wildlife to thrive in.
