Our Fundraiser Is Live!

We are delighted that VEGAN Happy Clothing is doing a fundraiser for us on FaceBook and you can find the link to it HERE.

There are almost 60 items in the Auction of brand new VEGAN Happy items that funds will also be split with The Farm Animal Sanctuary, where VEGAN Happy have some rescue sheep Star and Oscar, but on top, the sanctuary have rescued so many new faces recently, they are in desperate need of some funds to help top up their feed buckets!

Lorri from VEGAN Happy and also Exercising Kindness got to go to the sanctuary today to check in on Star and Oscar, and also meet the new little lambs, as well as three new ponies Dixie, Domino, and Cheeky.

Plus, two new female Jenny Donkeys!

And the Llamas that she didn't get around to meeting, but are still there and need feeding!

First, let's start with Star and Oscar, who were rescued and taken to the sanctuary at 4 days old and are now over 3 years old and are big bouncing healthy boys who live their days in love and happiness and safe forever. Below are some pics of Lorri with the boys...

Star and Oscar are in the middle of the 4 sheep and on the right is Oscar and Lorri (Oscar has a dark face, Star has a white one).

But let's look at the new arrivals too! Below is a gorgeous picture of Boo who is now 12 days old and was rescued about a week ago. She is drinking from the Shepherdess well and you can see she is plump and healthy and super happy!

And then more lambs! With the arrival of a pregnant ewe who had three babies, two still survive and they are seen here with Mum and they are doing really well and bonding and feeding happily. At the sanctuary they are safe and happy and also have outside space to explore in the sunshine... and meet new visitors like us too!

What amazes us is that these sanctuaries, no matter how stretched they are, always welcome new residents with open arms and for that we cannot thank them enough ❤️
