Welcome to the Couch to 5K training guide. This guide has been designed for someone that has hardly run and wants to start. In my opinion this is one of the hardest to start and is why it uses the run/walk method. This is easier on the joints and fits in a good warm up and cool down. This is only a guide and can be adapted to suit you. Always implement small increases only. If you are feeling good and want an extra yoga or stretching day then that is also good. Always get enough rest and sleep as this helps the body repair and be ready to fight a new day. Always consult your doctor before starting a new exercise guide.
